Our new Speedy Scrub Club Program has already started! Dogs
get dirty quick, and sometimes you don't want a full groom,
but just for them to get a quick cleaning. This club is
ideal for the regularly "out and about" doggies of downtown
as well as other active dogs. Here is how it works:
You pay one low monthly membership fee and you can bring in
your dog for as many baths a month as needed. We recommend
that you do not bath your dog more than once a week if
possible in order to keep essential oils in their coat.
The service fee includes brush and bath only. For an
additional charge you can choose other spa services from our
A La Carte menu such as Nail Trim ($10, usually done once a
month), Anal Gland Expression ($5, once a month), Ear Clean
($5, minimum once a month), De-Shed, etc. If your dog has a
long coat that takes a long time to detangle or if it is
matted there will be additional charges.
Your card on file with us will be charged automatically on
the 1st of each month. If you decide to cancel your club
membership we ask that you please do so by the 15th of each
month. You can join at any time and we will pro-rate you for
the days left in the current month.

The monthly membership fees are $59, $69, and $79. The fee
is dependent on the size of your dog as well as the amount
of coat maintenance that is required. Please see one of our
team members for a price quote.
If you bathe your dog with us at least two times a month,
you will already be seeing a savings of at least 15%! There
is no appointment necessary for this service. Speedy Scrub
Club baths and brushes will not count towards your Bark
Avenue Spa Rewards Card, but the additional items will.
Our AKC certified trainer Robert Sotelo is now offering
extended one-on-one training packages to daycare and
boarding customers. This is a great way for us to help with
behavioral issues that will take a longer amount of time to
correct.
Many customers have expressed that they would like to have a
better behaved dog, but with their busy schedule they are
not able to dedicate as much time as they would need to in
order to see long term improvement. With this program our
trainer will be training your dog for you, and the only
commitment you will have to make is to be able to attend two
sessions with him so he can show you how to reinforce the
new better behavior at home.
The packages offered for this are ten sessions for $350 or
20 sessions for $600. Each session is an hour long. Problems
and issues that this kind of training can address are
nipping, jumping up on people, anti-social behavior, leash
aggression or stubbornness, preparation for the K9 good
citizen test, and more.
As most of you may have noticed already, there have been
some big changes within the last couple of weeks to our
daycare and grooming areas. Here is an explanation of what's
going on.
The little dog daycare area has moved to the other side of
the central playcare area. The number of small dogs
attending doggie daycare has been steadily increasing for
the past year and it was time to give them more room. The
new room is larger and gives them more romping space.
Also, with the expansion of our grooming services and the
growing number of regular grooming customers, there just
simply was not enough space and kenneling area for our
groomers and bathers to keep dogs clean and separated.
Check in and check out for little dogs will still be in the
usual spot, the door next to the grooming area. We will
retrieve your dog for you from the other side so there is no
need to walk over there.
The small dog website camera will be moved to the new
playcare room very soon. We are currently waiting for a
connection to be installed.

Our special daycare promotion for the month of February is twenty percent off of the first package purchased for new daycare package customers. This offer is only available for first time daycare package customers. So if you've been paying per day and not sure if you want to buy daycare days in bulk now is the time to stop hesitating!.
Did you know you could get $25 credit towards Bark Avenue services if you refer a new customer to us? Just make sure the person you refer let's us know who sent them so we can add the credit to your account. This credit can be used towards most Bark Avenue services but excludes training, pick up and delivery, and feeding charges. You become valid to receive the credit the first time the new customer makes any purchase.
We will now be asking that you please provide your own
dog's food for boarding. There are a couple of different
reasons for this. One reason being that a quick change in a
dog's diet can lead to an upset stomach and bowels. The
other is for financial reasons. We have some of the least
expensive prices for boarding that includes our award
winning daycare FREE of charge.
Unfortunately we can no longer cover the cost of food for
your dog while they stay with us. For your convenience we
will be able to feed your dog our in-stock high quality
kibble if you request it at a rate of $1.00 for small dogs,
$1.50 for medium to large dogs, $2.00 for plus sized dogs.
In addition we will be charging a $15 service fee for dogs
that are picked up later than fifteen minutes after closing.
We understand that sometimes things happen and you can't be
here on time. We ask that you please give us a call as soon
as you know you will be late and give us an estimated
arrival time. Don't worry, we will make some exceptions of
course, particularly if it is not a routine occurrence or
unavoidable.
As a reminder, if you are not here to pick up your dog by
closing and we have not heard from you, we will assume that
the dogs needs to be boarded and you will be billed for the
night.
